I received an amusing letter from my brother Ryan today, covered in various stickers. I discovered my nearly untouched drink from last night and finished it, becoming quite day drunk in the process. Iris and I watched the penultimate and final episodes of Boardwalk Empire, season two. Later, I joined Katie for dinner at Stetson East, then returned for a viewing of There Will Be Blood. I greatly enjoyed the movie despite my father ruining the ending for me last year (he gave me a completely wrong impression of who the characters were.) Jonny Greenwood's score, which could have easily been replaced with a standard Western soundtrack, lends an unusual power to the film, and Daniel Day-Lewis is stellar as usual
