The Horrible Club

          Somehow Elliot (note: different person from Eliot) forced my hand via a confusing text exchange, and we ended up moving tomorrow's movie to tonight. We watched Dr. Horrible while waiting for Iris to arrive, and then Fight Club, which I found to be appreciably good. After this, Elliot and I had a debate on the similarities between Fight Club and The Matrix. (I maintained that they were similar from a "trapped within an incomprehensible system" standpoint, while he argued that they differ in that the former concerns a self-imposed system.) He then hung around while we watched The Sopranos, uncomfortably hovering over my shoulder. At the end of the night, I took two laps around the Fens in the rain and headed to Snell to print out a volunteer form.
