We had the casting call for our three mini musicals this evening, as well as Feinstein's larger one. The pool of people who auditioned was an impressive array of theater majors and singers; one impressive jazz-trained guy named Ryan rocked "Feed Me" from Little Shop of Horrors, while another named Colton gave the entire opening monologue from Beauty and the Beast. In the end, Katie and I decided that we needed Ryan; the other two roles in our zombie musical are to be filled with either of two guys and one of about six girls, to be decided based on who the other groups choose. The audition process ran a bit long at two hours, but it was fascinating nonetheless.
