Today was my second to last day working in Jeremy's office, and I spent the entire shift scrambling to update tax forms for a client for the umpteenth time. Tangentially: Fuck Adobe and their stupid monopoly on functional OCR and the ability to save changes on PDF forms. It was a struggle redoing ten-page forms at least four times each, but there's no way Jeremy or me are gonna drop $100+ just to be able to save changes. After work, Sean accompanied me for a trip to PBP; he described my acquaintance Wendy, a talkative college grad who looks about 17, as "very vocal." Volunteering was followed by a solo Borderlands session (weapon name highlights of the day: "Colossal Destructor", "Genocide Cobra") and a marathon conversation with Sean that stretched late into the night.
Quote of the day:
"I need to write a letter and complain to the ice cream companies." - me
