WHO YA GONNA CALL

           GOALBUSTERS!
Ariel met me at Symphony to share dinner and catch up, and we traded stories and gossip. Next was a trip to the liquor store, where we mulled over various beers before settling on the tried 'n true Traveler pumpkin shandy and UFO's Gingerland, a pleasantly bready, lightly spiced brew. A meeting of the joint chiefs of staff segued into the Rangers vs. Flyers game; New York shut Philly out 2-0 in a rough and tumble contest. Talbot came up with some impressive saves and Optimus Klein lit it up for an improbable 4th time this season. To the Flyers' credit, goaltender Mason played out of his mind, Simmonds made a couple of nutty breakaways, and Claude Giroux had a sneaky play or two; unfortunately for Philadelphia, their defense corps is just too shitty to live. I stayed up late and continued to work on the party playlist for Malcolm. (This marks the sixth major revision thus far!)
