After an early start to the day working on our zombie musical, the day was pretty listless. It picked up later in the evening, when I read all of Oglaf (the most NSFW webcomic worth reading) and Alaric and I watched Young Guns. For the uninitiated, Young Guns is a fabulously bad film. Bad accents, horrible dialogue, cowboys riding set to '80s guitar wankery, regrettable sound effects, flat characters -- it truly has it all. On the other hand, though, Young Guns is blessed with that particular type of badness that keeps you coming back... much like the older Batman films. There are certainly some gems hidden in the coal, most notably Emilio Estevez's battle cry of "REGULATOOOORS!" In addition, the egregious racism and Peyote spirit journey scene are not to be missed. Just don't go it alone.
