T2F, Baby

Today, a very good friend came to visit! Katharine and her parents came by after a tour of WPI. Beautiful day for it - autumn is in full swing and the air is that crisp, hay ride under the moon variety of cold. Unfortunately, she lacked a photo ID and couldn't gain entrance to IV. Using my Northeastern-trained powers of innovation, I snagged my high school yearbook from my room and presented it to the proctor. "Will this do?" "I've never had this question before," he said with a bemused look. After persuading him to let us in, we left after ten minutes and went over to the women's basketball game at Cabot.
The game was an utter disaster. EMU kept a solid 30 point lead over NU the entire time, and at one point a single player was beating our entire team, 37 to 35 or some such. The Rageous Band barely got to play at all, though we did sneak in a piece here and there. Heavy hearted and feeling slightly dirtied, we returned to IV. Intending to go out to some French-themed function later in the evening, I instead stole Jaimie's bed and took a nap for 4 hours or so. Highlight: James shouting that she was "T to F tonight" in front of a large tour group.
