A bear ran across the road again while I headed to the Red Onion this evening. Unusual behavior, seeing as bears are rarely out in the daylight at all in this area. There was a weird moment when I was polishing silverware and humming "Santeria" when Gina (my mother's friend's twin) commented that it was "one of her faves" and that it reminded her of her college days. I'm not sure how comfortable I am being tight with someone that's also my mother's good friend.
