These Hits Is Criti-Cool

Snow at last. It snowed Halloween night and never again, and now it's coming down in force. Outside IV, college students scamper about like they were young 'uns. Several ninth floor residents headed out to join the snowball fights. Two teams of fifteen or twenty people were throwing volleys back and forth; I watched in amazement as one, entrenched behind wooden barricades and bike racks, went over and around them and threw themselves into the other team with a battle cry. Naturally this was the team that we joined forces with. In later charges we tended to aim for one guy in particular, who was wearing a red vest. Alaric, Sean and I also had a The Good, the Bad, the Weird Mexican standoff, Tasha (a Floridian) had her first romp in the snow ever, and people built snow penises. We teamed up on Sherbert, calling, "What sick man send babiez to fight me?" The aforementioned gents finished the fight by making two snowballs each and backstabbing one person on our team, a guy with a loud orange jacket. Several men from the team gave chase and we narrowly made it inside, but not before taking a few hits around the back and arms.
Earlier, a few of us gathered to watch Winnie the Pooh: The Search For Christopher Robin, again taking advantage of the VHS machine in the basement. My childhood flashed before my eyes as I took in the great music and animation. Unlike Disney films, it was quite devoid of sneaky adult humor, which is a plus or a minus depending on one's mood.
          Quotes of the day:
"NO PRISONERS!" - a random guy in the snowball fight
"It's snowing so hard... on my dick!" - another random guy, having built a snow penis
"You're not getting any skinnier!" - yet another random guy, as we threw snowballs at girls behind the window by the ellipticals in the gym
