Professor Feinstein knows Brad, the pianist from television program Glee, on a first name basis. Apparently he's impossible to shut up when he starts talking. That's the second famous person he's mentioned in a very offhand way, hopefully with more to come.
Iris is knitting a blue and white scarf for me, and her efforts are the definition of tortured. "Did I miss a purl? Did I miss a purl?" ad infinitum. Later, to ease some of the angst left over from Platoon, we watched The Truman Show. Even Heather liked it, truly an accomplishment these days.
My adventure for the day: Jaimie took me all the way to the Pru on foot in order to pick up a free truffle with her Godiva Rewards Card. Never again will I accept an excuse about how she hasn't got enough time.
