It's Tricky

I had my first class with Professor Dukakis, and I don't know what to think yet. He's mildly intimidating and definitely carries himself like a statesman, but is also 80 years old and repeats himself a lot. He is prone to tangents and little anecdotes about his political career, but also has a wealth of knowledge about policy and law. He vehemently advises against law school for students who don't want to practice law, and likes to cast barbs at ideologically opposed successors and certain federal administrations. (In this first session, he already said that military interventions are "very tricky, people. Very tricky," twice. Did I mention the repetition?) Our final project is a huge policy paper that I'm already dreading.
