Shaq & Decker

          Nathan and I turned into handymen today. We mounted an American flag that now waves gracefully off the deck, and walked down to the Heath Street projects to observe it from ground level. We nailed up the Believe in Boston flag to veil the doorway to the living room, then got that room in more workable order and generally cleaned the apartment. Later on, Iris and Kofi hosted a housewarming feast with chicken Marsala, Brussels sprouts, and roasted potatoes. The beer was on point too. Stuffed, I retired to the couch and napped for a while, eventually rousing to smoke and talk with fellow guests Mike, Jane, Lindsay, Kofi, Nathan, Alaric, and Michelle. I enjoyed a silly walk back to the apartment from Huntington, accompanied by a very blazed Nathan.
